I worked at one of the UK’s largest independent agencies for a year, then I spent the next two years in-house at the RSPCA. I’ve come away with some great experiences. And now, when people tell me branding doesn’t matter, I know how to change their mind.
In no particular order, here are some of the other things I’ve learnt: sometimes the best copy is no copy; it’s good to begin the creative process with pen and paper, and the occasional sentence with And; big brains use small words; don’t waste people’s time*.
